EAA Chapter 1167

Old Business:

• Spring Fly-in went well.
• We Included an appeal for additional pilots from other local area EAA chapters.
• Doug Floyd will coordinate pilots from other Chapters
• Fall Fly-in planned for Nov. 9

New Business:

• In addition to Scouts and YE groups, consider Vanessa Martin for a 2025 AA candidate.

Main Discussion:

• Aircraft Spruce bought Wag Aero
• Aircraft insurance went up around 11%.

Tech Talk:

• Jim gave a fantastic briefing where he described prepatory landings, as well as low key and high key altitudes. He also talked about the impossible turn.
